Magnatune. What an amazing record label, you listen to the music (as m3u streams). If you like the album - you decide how much to pay for it (from $US 5 - 18). Half the money to the artist and half to Magnatune. In addition they have a great tagline "We're a record label. But we're not evil." Cool. Found via Tim Bray and Jon Udell - within minutes of each other.

Music anywhere around the house - I want one

Wow - Joel has just bought and reviewed the Sonos music system. Basically it lets you play digital music anywhere in your house. Think music from any computer (or the internet), anywhere you want it. Starting a cool US $1000 - its time to start saving my pennies. I'm envious of Joel.
